National Congress of the Italian Society of Microbiology SIM 2025

Sally Waheed Yousief presented a poster at the National Congress of the Italian Society of Microbiology (SIM 2025, Catania, 19–22 September).

Her poster, titled “Survive to Thrive: Mapping the Genetic Blueprint of Staphylococcus aureus Survival in vivo,” showcased novel insights into tissue-specific fitness determinants revealed through TraDIS screening.

Dr. Yousief is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie researcher with INNOTARGETS and PhD candidate at the University of Sassari.
